Bed Room 2 Project - Apartment

This is bed room design concept for second bed room in Kusuma Chandra Apartment, Jakarta. The concept is dynamic, minimalist, modern. I put one scale tone color on wall from browny yellow to tea brown and khaki. Up-ceiling in the middle of ceiling wiyh indirect lamp around it to make ambiance more warm. There's a photo in the middle of center wall that syncronized with wall line. We make cuff along above center of wall to make dramatic effect of wall color and the line. Small sphere shape table lamp above side table. Single sofa besides the "big tube shade" extraordinary standing lamp. Study desk at the left side of view with wood material and 2 open shelves above it

Bed Room 1 Project - Apartment

This is bed room concept project for penthouse apartment in Jakarta Indonesia. Actually Kusuma Chandra Apartment. I put marron, cream, khaki paint color vertically to make interesting ambiance and look nice and exclusive. There's 2 wall-mounted lamp with wood material. The light up and down direct. WE make side table with wood material in simple square design. There's 1 study table at left side with wood material. Along ceiling edge, we make cuff with indirect lamp. Brown curtain hanging in this cuff too. Sungkai wood Floor parquet. Round rugs. Up-ceiling in the middle of whole ceiling, and put around its edge indirect lamp.

Master Bed Room Project - Kusuma Chandra Apartment

This is my design interior concept project in one of penthouse in one apartment in Jakarta Indonesia for Master Bed Room. The concept is minimalist, contemporer, modern. I put exposed headboard with wood material and layered by zebra wood veneer and I groove the layer. And then, behind the headboard, I put indirect lamp to make illuminace look like light line around the headboard. That's simple thing but dramatically change the ambiace of the room. Above side table, I put hanging lamp in sphere shape. That make ambiance loks warm, elegant and nice. I put round shape rug to make room more dynamic.

Interior Designer Scoop

Interior Designer focus in " How to manage layout, rooms, zoning and fill the interior with elements that will make interior looks according to clients need". Usulally, Interior Designer develop concept for long term uses. Sometimes permanently uses not temporary.

Scoop of Interior Field

First time I know in my mindset, in my country, interior field is confusing. Because, in interior job there was Interior Designer and Interior Decorator. This is grey area I think. Sometimes Interior Decorator called Interior Designer by many people.

After I thouht those two jobs, and after few years I work in Interior fields, so now I can describe the differences between Interior Decorator and Interior Designer. Of course this is just my opinion and my self conclusion.

I think, Interior Decorator just focus in " How to make interior just look better than before condition in ambiance and view, but they generally don't thinking about layout solving problem, interior element solving problem, zoning and sirculation efficiency, and open-close room. Usually, the job description scoop of Interior Decorator is smaller than Interior Designer.
For example, Wedding Plenner sometimes we can called them as Interior Decorator. They just focus to make interior look nice and better view and ambiance with attaching or arrange some element like art work, accessories, curtain loose furniture with "Existing Room Layout".
